Blacktusk Hunt Ranch

Our Hunt property is a 100% forested swamp and Aspen Forest, not for the faint of heart, home to some of the largest European and Russian Wild Boars you will ever lay eyes on. This preserves is around 50 acres, any larger you would never kill a boar! Your hunt on Blacktusk Ranch is challenging to say the least, but it’s also just the right size, and the stocking density is ideal so you can be assured you will get your trophy. Our Wild Boar hunts are conducted on foot or by utilizing our elevated blind. Expect an exciting and thrilling hunt, one that will be unforgettable!

We conduct our TROPHY and MEAT hunts on the same property. So for safety reasons all hunts are fully guided for optimum trophy and meat animal selection.

There is nothing "Typical" about a Wild Boar hunting day. As we hunt them during the day and even sometimes at night, whatever we need to do, but normally your hunt starts with you and your guide leaving the Silvertine Lodge, just a short 5 minute walk, and then spending the necessary amount of time needed to get the job done. Returning to the Silvertine Lodge for lunch and afterwards.

We have found most Boar Hunts recieve custom hunt packages. The length of the hunt depends on number of guests, number of animals hunted, species hunted, and weapon choice of the guest (Bow or Rifle). The normal Trophy Boar Hunt sold is two to three days.

Please be aware and read our "Wounded Game Policy" at the bottom of the Dates and Rates Page.
